Undergraduate Research Opportunity

Research opportunity in a Foot-and-Mouth Disease Project

I am looking for a student to participate in an ongoing research project, which I believe could be a valuable learning experience for someone interested in basic research and willing to work a few days a week for 6-12 months.

This project is aimed at investigating the molecular pathogenesis of the foot-and-mouth disease virus infection. The research includes using classical and molecular virology techniques in a BSL3 biosecurity lab located at the Plum Island Animal Disease Center, USDA.
